LupoGait parameters are crucial for precise gait analysis in dogs. They not only enable the early detection of orthopaedic and neurological abnormalities, but also provide valuable data for individual therapy adjustments.

LupoGait is an innovative, mobile gait analysis system that enables precise diagnoses and individual therapy adjustments. The combination of state-of-the-art IMU sensor technology and intelligent software provides an exact movement profile of the dog. The technology makes LupoGait the first scientifically validated, mobile gait analysis system for dogs.

Scientifically based motion analysis:

LupoGait computes 34 biomechanical parameters to identify subtle gait deviations. These include, among others:

  • Joint mobility (ROM) – analysis of the range of motion
  • Step frequency & step length – evaluation of regularity
  • Symmetry index – comparison of the left and right side of the body
  • Dynamic load analysis – detection of relieving postures and incorrect loads

These precise measurements enable early diagnosis, therapy monitoring and objective assessment of orthopaedic and neurological gait changes.
